Update 16/08/19
Hello everyone who's still keeping up with my game! I have some (probably) major announcements to make!
First of all, Nuns and Roses is going to get a complete overhaul. And with complete, I actually mean complete overhaul. Since I published this game, I have been a little unhappy with the way I worked with the themes we had to use (note: This was part of my Game Design studies and this game was handed in as a final project. We were given three keywords we should incoporate into our game design: Steampunk, female knights, grail) and now that two years since then have passed, I thought about changing the game into something that I would approve more of.
The overhaul is based mostly on an aesthetic standpoint. I moved N+R from a Steampunk-ish game into a more "Art Déco" direction which I thought might fit the game a little better. This had caused some changes in the lore of the game and some renamings in general but this did not change the game itself. N+R is still a game for tabletop-RPG beginners and this will not be changed. I will try and keep the rulebook as short as possible because that is the way the game was intended to be.
Second of all, I have made plans to sell a printed "deluxe" version of the new rulebook at conventions (whenever that is going to happen).
A slimmed down, more compact version of the new rulebook, as well are character sheets will be still available on itch.io and the digital version of N+R will remain free to download.
I wish all of you reading this a nice weekend and hope that you are as excited as me for the new and updated Nuns and Roses!
